The Myrtle, The Stonybreck

Our 100% eco cashmere jumpers will provide your doggy with years of warmth and style, when treated with love and care. If your washing machine has a ‘hand wash’ cycle you can use that with a specialist cashmere detergent, if not then hand wash cool. Rinse thoroughly with cool water, roll in a towel to wring out excess water and then reshape to dry flat on a towel, but not in direct sunlight, in front of a fire or on a radiator. Can also be specialist dry-cleaned.

All cashmere can suffer from pilling, particularly on dogs that are closer to the ground. You can easily remove the bobbles with a special cashmere comb.

The Hyde

100% cotton Ventile fabric is extremely durable and will give your dog many years of warmth and comfort. The garment can be spot cleaned, although we recommend specialist dry-cleaning for the perfect clean. If spot cleaning you should brush or sponge off any dirt, or you can machine wash inside out on a 30-degree cycle with a very mild pure soap. It can be ironed on a warm setting, which will reactivate the waterproof treatment.

The Clarence, The Greenwich, The Kensington

Your waxed cotton coat will last for many years if you treat it well. You can spot clean or wipe down any excess mud or dirt, or use a soft brush. If the coat gets very wet you should hang it up to dry at room temperature, never on a radiator or in front of a fire.  The neoprene belly panel can be cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water.

The Osborne, The Richmond

Your shearling coat will last for many years if you treat it well. Don’t get it too wet as this may distort the shape.  If it does get damp you should hang it up to dry at room temperature, never on a radiator or in front of a fire. Once dry, any water spots can be removed with a clothes brush, and grease marks will come out by using powdered chalk. Your coat can also be specialist dry-cleaned.

Leatherwear

Our vegetable tanned Bridle leather is extremely durable and ages beautifully over time, creating its own unique patina. Care should be taken, however, to avoid extremes of damp, wet, perspiration, or similar. And our leatherwear does not respond well to extreme heat, cold and arid conditions, as the colours may spoil or transfer. Any such activity is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

We recommend you use a leather cream such as Chelsea Dubbin Leather food, Connolly’s Hide Food or Grangers Leather Conditioner which will enhance the longevity of your Bone Idol collars and leads. Always read the manufacturers recommendations prior to application.
