Measuring your dog correctly for the perfect made-to-order coat, jacket, jumper or collar is all-important. It’s easy to do:
Use a flexible dressmaker’s tape and measure from the nape of the neck (where the collar falls), along the back to the base of the tail. This is your L measurement.
To accurately read the neck measurement you should position the tape measure around the neck, halfway down from the ears to the base of the neck. This is your N measurement.
Measure from the back of the front legs around the widest part of your dog’s chest. This is your C measurement. If your dog is long-haired, make sure you pull the tape measure snug against the dog’s skin, and not loose where the fur hangs.

100% cotton Ventile® fabric is extremely durable and will give your dog many years of warmth and comfort. The garment can be spot cleaned, although we recommend specialist dry-cleaning for the perfect clean. If spot cleaning you should brush or sponge off any dirt, or you can machine wash inside out on a 30 degree cycle with a very mild pure soap. It can be ironed on a warm setting, which will reactivate the waterproof treatment.
